Empire Aerospace Expands Rockwell Collins Authorization

 

Hayden, Idaho, May 1, 2008

 

Empire Aerospace General Manager Tom Hamilton announced that Empire Aerospace signed Ops Specs that now authorize Empire to install and work on any Rockwell Collins avionics system in any make or model of aircraft under 70,000 pounds Gross Weight.

 

Avionics Manager Chad Mobeck added that Empire’s capabilities now include flight line maintenance and complete installation of Pro Line II and Pro Line 4 series equipment, Rockwell Collins extended warranty sales, flight line maintenance warranty work, and upgrading existing Rockwell Collins equipped corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.

 

A subsidiary of Empire Airlines, Empire Aerospace has been providing exceptional heavy maintenance and avionics modifications on a fleet of Fokker F27, ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft for several US and Canadian operators as well as avionics and structural modifications on Bombardier Dash-8, Q400 and CRJ-700, and Embraer EMB 120 aircraft.
